Tinseltown Holiday Spectacular is back with a new location. The one-of-a-kind winter wonderland experience will be coming to South Philadelphia this holiday season, opening in FDR Park next to the Sports Complex. Visitors of all ages will feel the magic of the holiday season as they stroll through a spectacle of lights, check off their holiday shopping list, dine on festive treats and beverages, meet Santa Claus, and much more. Along with the new location, Tinseltown will feature brand-new experiences sure to impress both new and returning guests. Tinseltown will run from November 17 through January 1.
FDR Park has easy access from I-95 and is steps away from SEPTA’s Broad Street Line. Designated parking will be available at the Novacare Lot on the day of the event. FDR Park is adjacent to the South Philadelphia Sports Complex and part of the exciting future of South Philadelphia, which includes key development projects at the Sports Complex, Navy Yard and Bellwether District.
With the magic of FDR Park as its backdrop, Tinseltown will showcase breathtaking light sculptures and displays powered by more than 1.2 million light bulbs. As guests stroll the brand-new layout of this illuminated wonderland in the park, they will find larger-than-life sculptures, including a 60-ft light tunnel, glowing baubles, and, of course, Santa’s sleigh. Tinseltown will also showcase some of Philadelphia’s most beloved landmarks and personalities in lights – along the way, you’ll find a massive, walk-through Liberty Bell, illuminations representing Philly sports teams, and a few more holiday-inspired jawns that guests are sure to love.

Gritty Claus will be in attendance at Tinseltown every Friday in December! On select nights, holiday goers and Philly sports fans alike can see the one and only Gritty Claus spreading the holiday cheer! Those looking to get photos with Gritty Claus can purchase a photo as part of Tinseltown’s Front Gate ticket package.
*Photo opportunities with Gritty will be limited on a first-come, first-served basis.
