This clever firefly is a fun craft that kids can make with a 1 liter pop bottle and a glow stick. The kids and I made one while camping and they loved it- especially at night.
You will need:
- 1- Glow stick
- 1- 1-liter soda bottle with lid rinsed and dried (remove label)
- 1- paper cut into the shape of a large heart
- 2- strips of paper
- 2- small buttons for eyes
- 2- pipe cleaners
- Glue and tape for assembly
STEP 1:
Tape the 2 strips of paper around the bottle. Then tape the heart

The kids will have so much fun playing with them in the dark! Our kids were running all around the campsite playing tag in the dark with them.
