Preparing youth and parents for STEM careers in the 21st Century

Resources for Human Development is hosting a workshop for parents to learn STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering & Math).

Location: RHD Conference Room, 4700 Wissahickon Avenue, Suite #126, Philadelphia, PA 19144-4248
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon

Come and Learn:
  • Learn about STEM
  • Learn about what is happening in the world of STEM
  • Participate in a Round Table discussion with Drexel University students and faculty member Dr. Caglan Kumbur, Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering, will be the facilitator
  • Learn how to become more involved in STEM
  • About how parents can learn to participate in STEM Activities

Directions to RHD:

  • From US-1 S: Exit US-1 S at Fox Street/Henry Ave. Turn left onto Fox Street. Turn left onto Abbottsford Ave. The RHD parking lot is on your right, approximately 200 yards after turning onto Abbottsford Ave., before reaching Wissahickon Ave.
  • From Wissahickon Ave., west of US-1: Continue past US-1, turning right on Roberts Ave. Turn right into the parking lot just past King St. RHD parking is at the far end of the lot.
  • From Wissahickon Ave., east of US-1: Turn left on Roberts Ave. Turn right into the parking lot just past King St. RHD parking is at the far end of the lot.
