Fireworks In and Around Northeast Philadelphia
Spectacular Fireworks In and Around the Area
Sunday, July 3rd
Conshohocken
Festivities begin around 5:30 and fireworks begin at dusk. My family will be there as my daughter's in-laws live in Conshohocken! Great fun and great fireworks every year!
Cost: FREE!
Where: Sutcliffe Park at West 9th and Freedley Streets
Doylestown
Sounds of Summer 2011: Philly Horn Band and Fireworks at 7:30 PM
Cost: FREE!
Where: Central Park, 425 Wells Rd
Sesame Place
The night sky sparkles at Sesame Place, with a spectacular fireworks show, set to a Sesame Street music, making the festivities on Independence Day weekend truly memorable. Fireworks are immediately following the 9p.m.evening performance of the "Neighborhood Street Party" parade.
Fireworks start at 9:00 PM
Cost: Included with price of admission.
Where: Sesame Place at 100 Sesame Rd.
Note: Entry into the park will be limited 5 minutes prior to the start of fireworks.
Tip: For the best view watch from the parks front plaza!
Monday, July 4th
PHILADELPHIA COUNTY
Lawncrest Recreation Center
Parade featurimg string bands, armed service groups, community groups, churches, sports teams and more starts at 9 AM at Rising Sun & Longshore through Rising Sun & Comly (Lawncrest Rec.), and will be followed by a flag raising ceremony. Flea Market is scheduled from 8 AM to 6 PM. Food court is open 9 AM to 5 PM. Car show runs from 10 AM to 2 PM. Kids' rides and live entertainment (magic show) start at 11 AM. Fireworks begin at dusk. Raindate: July 9th.

Philadelphia Museum of Art
Approximately 10:30 PM, following Philly's 4th of July Jam.

Where: Art Museum on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway
Tip: For the best viewing, park your lawn chair on Lemon Hill, Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Boathouse Row, Kelly Drive, Martin Luther King Drive, or in Schuykill River Park.
EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY & BUCKS COUNTY
Abington / Glenside / Jenkintown 4th of July Celebration & Fireworks
The 108th Annual Grand, Glorious, Patriotic Parade is at 4 PM. This colorful march through the heart of Glenside is among America's oldest running 4th of July parades. Starting at Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 676, Jenkintown and Edge Hill Rds., the 1.5-mile route for the three-division parade will be east on Jenkintown Rd., south along Easton Rd., and east on Waverly Rd, for two blocks to the end point at Keswick Ave. The reviewing stand will continue being front, main entrance steps of St. Luke the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Easton Rd. at Fairhill Ave.

Newtown Fireworks
