PSPCA & NAR

July 3, 2011

Little Foot is a torti female available for adoption at the Northeast Animal Rescue. She was born November 2007.

Little Foot was surrendered due to financial reasons. She is very sweet and loves to sleep with her foster mom at night. Little Foot gets along with other cats. She is missing her left-hind leg, but gets around the house just fine. Little Foot is up to date on shots, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and is spayed.

Herbie the Love Bug is a tuxedo male available for adoption at the Northeast Animal Rescue. He was born March 2007.

Found on the streets after being hit by a car, Herbie is friendly and loving.  Due to his injury, Herbie requires a special diet. Herbie is up to date on shots, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and is neutered.

Sabrina is a gray tabby and white female available for adoption at the Northeast Animal Rescue. She was born August 2010.

Sabrina loves to be petted and gets along well with children and other cats. Sabrina is shy, so she will need time to adjust in her furever home. Sabrina is up to date on shots, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and spayed.

Oxford is a front-declawed tuxedo male available for adoption at the Northeast Animal Rescue. He was born May 2005.

Oxford was found alone and dirty on the streets. Now in a loving foster home, Oxford loves to be petted and talked to by his foster family. Oxford is up to date on shots, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and neutered.

Anyone interested in adopting Little Foot, Herbie the Love Bug and/or Sabrina can visit the Northeast Animal Rescue, located inside the PetSmart at 11000 Roosevelt Blvd., or fill out an application at nar.rescuegroups.org.

* Mr. Smartypants, Bella, Smokey, Cabo and Ellie have been adopted!

Daily is an adult male pix bull mix.  Daily was brought to the Pennsylvania SPCA by our Humane Law Enforcement Officers as part of a cruelty/neglect case. He has a friendly disposition, however, and would make a great addition to a loving home. He's patiently awaiting his forever home!

Meme is a big beautiful two-year-old girl.  She was adopted from another shelter earlier this year, but unfortunately her new owner had to give her up due to severe allergies. She is shy at first around new people, but is warm and friendly once she gets to know  you. She has been around children and is very calm and loving.  Meme has a beautiful calico coat is a stunningly beautiful cat. She could be  yours today!

This little cutie is Napoleon.   He is approximately 3 months old.  He was found out in the streets and brought to the shelter. Unfortunately, his story isn't unique. At this time of year, there are lots of kitten on the street.   Thankfully, Napoleon was brought to us and his chances of finding a good home are good.

The Pennsylvania SPCA has lots of kittens like Napoleon right now, so if you are interested in getting a young cat that can grow old with your family, now is a great time to stop in.  And if you already have a cat (or dog for that matter) at home that isn't spayed or neutered, please do so. We offer low-cost options.  Spay and Neuter is the best way to prevent more unwanted animals out on the streets.
